Ciccions’ case – motorparts for a motorbike trip
Ciccions’ case: motorparts we take with us
All the mototravellers know that the first case that we prepare is the motorbike’s one,
our clothes fill the remained space.
Here are the motorbike’s parts that we take with us during medium-long travels (our Ciccions is a KTM 950 adventure):
– voltage regulator
– 21″ chamber air (it can be used on the back wheel in order to reach the nearest tire repairer)
– piston with double o-ring for actuator OR actuator for repalcement
– a little bottle with about 15 cc of clutch oil
– a little funnel for the topping up of the oil
– a kit for clutch master cylinder repair (it costs only 29 euros and take a little bit space)
– a throttle cable
– an oil filter (the Adventure works with an oil wire, but if the filter is clogged or dirty, it doesn’t put under pressure the hydraulic chain tensioner and we’ll have that annoying metallic ticking)
– a half meter of petrol tube
– a couple of back brake pads
– a couple of front brake pads
– a little electric compressor (we have a “SLIME”)
– 1 kg of engine oil
No, you won’t be safe.
Yes, maybe something will happen and you won’t have the right part.
We remained without starting in the highest point of Itaca, without clutch in the desert…
But without adventure’s spirit you aren’t a biker! 🙂
